Easy Spin is an FV-1 based DSP pedal that makes it easy (and fun) to make your own digital effects.

Part of what makes the Easy Spin super easy is the Audiofab USB programmer and programming software. This combination offers quick and easy programming of the pedal with DSP programs you develop yourself or download — details below.

Easy Spin supports eight digital effects, selected by a rotary switch. The parameters of each digital effect can be controlled via three potentiometers.

The FV-1 is supported by a thriving ecosystem.

To get started with programming, we recommend SpinCAD Designer. It is a powerful and easy to use block diagram programming tool that has found strong support in the FV-1 community.

For more advanced programming, you can use assembly language. We recommend using asfv1, a command line assembler written in Python, which can easily be installed using PIP. To simplify things, we’ve integrated asfv1 into the Easy Spin programming software so you use our software for assembly and EEPROM burning.

Once you have your programs working, our Easy Spin programming software (fv1_programmer) can be used to easily program your assembly programs into the various program slots of the Easy Spin pedal. You can find installation instructions on the fv1_programmer download page, and in the Audiofab USB programmer User’s Manual.

Easy Spin is available as a fully assembled pedal, a PCB set with surface-mount components installed or a raw PCB set. We also offer a kit of the key electromechanical parts. The Audiofab USB Programmer can be purchased separately.
